Kalinka Stoynovska was born in Borovan, Bulgaria, 1944, graduated from VGIK Moscow with a Ph.D. and is now Associate Professor in Film History, Editor of “Kino” magazine and former Editor in chief of “Kino”. She has published many articles, reviews, portraits, festival coverage in specialized press and is a long-time collaborator to the National Radio.
