Pascale Breton

Born in Morlaix in 1961, initially working as a geographer, then screenwriter, Pascale Breton made her first film in 1995, La Huitième Nuit, which won both the Grand Prix and the Best First Film Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival. Her short film Les Filles du douze was nominated for a César in 2002, while her first first feature, Illumination (2004), won an award in Rotterdam. In 2014, she shot Suite Armoricaine, filmed in the University of Rennes 2.
