Roger Clarke has written and reviewed for every major national newspaper in the UK, but is best known for his columns, features and reviews in the “Independent” from 1995. He was acting reviews editor of “Screen International” in 2006 and has served on panels and juries, including the BBC World Cinema Award in 2005. He is a published poet, short story writer and librettist and now writes mostly for “Sight & Sound”.
