Romania’s Porumboiu Wins in Athens
Athens (Greece, 28th Panorama of European Cinema, November 26 – December 2, 2015). The Critics Prize went to a European film in the international competition: “The Treasure” (Comoara) by Corneliu Porumboiu (Romania, 2015, 89 min), for “the detailed and profound look, through a parabole, at a skillfully interspersed with irony and humor post-communist society”.
