Louise Dumas is a French film critic and academic. After studying German language and culture, she completed a PhD focusing on the notion of automobility in German cinema. Now she teaches German and Film Studies at university. As a critic, she is member of the editorial board of Positif. She also writes film and theatre reviews for the cultural magazine Transfuge.
