Miroslav Lanik

Miro Lanik is a member of the Club of Film Journalists. He has been writing for a number of Slovak periodicals (Pravda, SME, Nový cas, Kankán, Hugo, Týžden). In the 1990s he had a regular program in the Slovak Radio Banská Bystrica. He is an organizer and program director of several film and music festivals, such as Barbakan, Eastsider. In 2008, he organized a „Slovak Film Festival“ in Damask, Syria and a show of the Arabian cinema in Bratislava titled “Far Near East”.
