20th Mar Del Plata International Film Festival

Under the direction of filmmaker Miguel Pereira, the traditional festival (this year in its 20th edition) tries successfully to slip off the image as a glamour and star event which earlier directors had tried to impose, more or, mostly, less successfully. In the kurort of Mar del Plata, you could see a good selection of international films, and of course the festival organizers called attention in particular for Latin American and Argentinean films. The winner of our prize: A Year Without Love (Un año sin amor) by Anahi Berneri (Argentina).
