Reports
At the oldest competitive film festival in North America, the members of our jury compose same time the official jury for the New Directors Competition, open to first and second time filmmakers.
First known as a film critic (for Positif) and a novelist, Emmanuel Carrère directed the documentary Return to Kotelnitch in 2003. This year he made his first feature, the very intriguing La Moustache (The Moustache), which received our prize in Chicago.
