Reports
For the 42nd year, Chicago celebrated, under the direction of festival founder Michael Kutza, the cinemas from all around the world. As every year, our jury focused on the first and second feature competition, and awarded an American film. Minimalist and austere, Julia Loktev’s Day Night Day Night follows the methodical actions of a mysterious girl as she navigates the path toward becoming a suicide bomber.
