Motivation: “For blending punkish energy and the anti-authoritarianism of skate culture with the mysticism of Roma folklore and a timeless Shakespearean love story. The film is youthful, playful, creative and borderless both in cultural influences as well as its fresh filmmaking. Going through a troubled past and talking to a divided present, it provides much needed cues for a better future”.
