“For being a cinematic work that engages with a complex, patriarchal social context in which different forms of masculinity converge without resorting to archetypal or superficial formulas. The film develops a perspective on identity, violence, and gender, expressed through a raw aesthetic combined with the symbolic weight of its geographical setting.”
