t the 17th Bratislava International Film Festival (Slovakia, November 12-17, 2015), the critics jury focussed on the international competition, made up of first and second films. Prize: “Land and Shade” (La tierra y la sombre) by César Augusto Acevedo (Colombia, 2015, DCP, 97 min).
Motivation: “A composed, considered and precise riff on family as the last victim of capitalism, a parasite that destroys the very resources it depends upon.”
