Mexican Cinema in Los Cabos
At the Los Cabos International Film Festival (Mexico, November 11-15, 2015), FIPRESCI was represented with a jury for the first time. The prize was dedicated to young Mexican cinema, as presented in the section “Mexico Primero”.
Prize: “I Promise Anarchy” (Te prometo anarquía, also known as “I Promise You Anarchy”) by Julio Hernández Cordón (Mexico, Germany, 2015, 88 min).
Jury members were Lucy Virgen, Mexico (“Senales de Humo”, “El Informador”), Marietta Steinhart; Austria (“Ray Filmmagazin”, “Zeit” online), Nachum Mochiach, Israel (“Habama-Culture Site”, “Atmosphere”).
