News from Odessa
At the 5th Odessa International Film Festival the critics’ jury focussed on Ukrainian films. The prize for a feature-length film went to “The Dybbuk. A Tale of Wandering Souls” (Dybuk. Rzecz o wedrowce dusz / Dibuk. Istoria mandrivnyh dush) by Krzysztof Kopczynski (Poland, Ukraine, Sweden, 2015, 86 min). Prize for a short film: “Son” (Syn) by Philip Sotnychenko (Ukraine, 2015, 16 min). Jury members were Ingrid Beerbaum, Germany, Cerise Howard, Australia, Oleksandr Gusev, Ukraine.
