The Vitality of Balkan Cinemas
At the 21st Sofia International Film Festival (March 9-19, 2017) the Critics Prize is dedicated to young films in the official program. The prize went to “Requiem for Mrs. J.” (Rekvijem za gospodu J.) by Bojan Vuletic (Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, 2017, 93 min), a coproduction of several Balkan countries. Jury members were Christina Stojanova, Canada, Massimo Lechi, Italy, Boryana Mateeva-Peneva, Bulgaria.
