Taipei: Young Chinese Language Films
At the Taipei Golden Horse Festival (Taiwan, November 5-26, 2015), the Critics Prize is dedicated to films shot in Chinese language and made by young directors. Prize: “Kaili Blues” (Lu bian ye can, China 2015, 110 min) by Bi Gan (director, screenplay). Motivation: “For the creative impressive visuality and poetic expression with philosophic overtones akin to the life and times of the disoriented contemporary psyche.” Print Source: Heaven Pictures (Bejing) Co., Ltd.
