Venice: The Critics Prizes
At the Venice International Film Festival (August 31 – September 10, 2016), the critics jury presented two FIPRESCI Prizes: to a film in the international competition; and to a film in the parallel sections.
Prize, International Competition: “A Woman’s Life” (Une vie) by Stéphane Brizé (France, Belgium, 2016, 119 min). Prize, First Feature in the Parallel Sections: “Kékszakállú” by Gastón Solnicki (Argentina, 2016, 72 min, shown in “Horizons”).
