Dejan Petrovic has a degree in philosophy from Belgrade University. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the University of Bologna. He is devoted to intense reflection on film as an art, and he is the author of more than a hundred essays, papers, book reviews, interviews, translations and film critiques. His works have been published in dozens of magazines, weeklies and journals, and hundreds have also been broadcast on national radio. He has received awards for his essays, which have been included in two essay collections. He has published two books.
