Dinu-Ioan Nicula

Dinu-Ioan Nicula (born 1968) is a doctor in Film History at the National University of Theatrical Art and Cinema of Bucharest. The author of important research on the Romanian animation film (1997), he worked for many years for the National Film Archive of Bucharest and had a weekly program at Radio Romania Cultural (1999-2015), with cinema topics of the past and present. Since 2014 he has written for the quarterly FILM, edited by the Union of the Romanian Filmmakers. In 2022 he was awarded with the prize „Ion Cantacuzino” for his activity as a film critic.
