Engin Ertan

Freelance writer and curator from Istanbul, Turkey. He studied Journalism at Istanbul University and started working as a film critic during his studies in 2000. He wrote for 13 years for the monthly film magazine “Sinema”, which was the longest running and best selling film magazine in Turkey around the time of its publication. He has worked as a consultant and programmer for various film festivals, including Istanbul Film Festival, and curated film series for different institutions. He still works as a film critic and festival programmer, based in Istanbul.
