JAVIER H. ESTRADA is a contributing editor for the film magazine Caimán. Cuadernos de Cine (formerly known as Cahiers du Cinema. España). He contributed to several books such as Nagisa Oshima (San Sebastián International Film Festival, 2013), Thomas Heise. Fragments of Seeking (Olaf Möller (ed), Punto de Vista Film Festival, 2013) and Film Festivals and the Middle East (St. Andrews Film Studies, 2014). In 2013 he became a programmer for the Lima Independiente International Film Festival (Peru). He is co-founder and Head of Programming of FILMADRID, an international film festival born in 2015.
