Marcin Radomski

Film Critic, Poland

A film critic, journalist, PhD in the humanities, and academic lecturer. He is the host, author, and creator of the KINOrozmowa program on YouTube, featuring interviews with actors, directors, and experts in film and television. He also hosts the Film Broadcast on Radio Czwórka. He is the author of the book Another World? The Auteur Cinema of Dorota Kędzierzawska. He is a member of the International Federation of Film Critics – FIPRESCI and the European Film Academy. He has published in magazines such as Kino, Newsweek, Rzeczpospolita, Gazeta Wyborcza, Magazyn Filmowy, Dziennik. Gazeta Prawna, as well as on websites including Filmweb.pl, Onet.pl, Interia.pl, WirtualnaPolska.pl, KulturaLiberalna.pl, and Culture.pl. He holds a degree in Cultural Studies from the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw. He studied Film & Media at the University of Amsterdam and completed postgraduate studies in the School of Cinema at Collegium Civitas. He earned his PhD in the humanities in the field of art studies at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) in Warsaw. In 2023, he was nominated for the Polish Film Institute Award in the category of film criticism. As an academic lecturer, he specializes in the history of film and contemporary Polish and European cinema. He is also the host of the Behind the Doors of Atlantic Cinema film series at the Atlantic Cinema in Warsaw.
