Mohammed Rouda is a film critic and author of books on cinema. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon, but lived most of his adult years in UK, where he obtained his citizenship, and USA. He has been a member of FIPRESCI for many years. The author of “The Annual Book of Cinema” (in Arabic), writes for Asharq Al Awsat, a leading pan-arab daily based in London, and freelances other publications as well.
