Pamela Hutchinson

Pamela Hutchinson is a freelance writer, critic and film historian who contributes regularly to Sight & Sound, the Guardian, Criterion, Indicator and the BBC, specialising in silent cinema and women in film. She is a guest tutor at the National Film and Television School and a member of the London Film Critics’ Circle. Her BFI Film Classic on Pandora’s Box was published in 2017 and she recently edited 30-Second Cinema (Ivy Press, 2019). She is also the founder and editor of silent cinema website Silent London.
