Rebecca Harkins-Cross

Rebecca Harkins-Cross is a writer and critic from Melbourne, Australia. She is the film editor for The Big Issue and film columnist for The Lifted Brow. Her writing has appeared in publications across Australia and the world, including The Age, The Australian, The Saturday Paper, CNN, Senses of Cinema, Metro and Fireflies. Her work has received several awards from the Australian Film Critics Association, and she was recently named one of Melbourne’s best writers under 30 by the Melbourne Writers Festival. She is currently working on her first book, a history of terror in Australian cinema, and is a PhD candidate at Monash University.
