I was born in Macerata (Italy) on the 14th October 1973. I graduated in Modern Literature at “Ca’ Foscari” in Venice. I obtained a Second Level Master’s Degree in Journalism at the “Luiss Guido Carli” in Rome. In 2000 I won the prize for the best student of journalism schools in Rome I have been a professional journalist since 30 January 2002. In 2009 I won the “Alfio Menegazzo” journalistic award. From 14 October 2002 to today I have been working at Corriere del Veneto – Corriere della Sera as a journalist. After having dealt with crime news and regional politics, I edited the website of the Corriere del Veneto and now I take care of the cultural pages of the regional pages of Corriere della Sera.  Passionate about cinema, I have been following the Venice Film Festival as a correspondent since 2003. I have a film review column on the websites of Corriere del Veneto, Corriere di Bologna and Corriere del Trentino. I am a member of the national film critics union. I am vice president of the Panecinema association, which organizes cinema and cooking evenings.  In 2012 I edited the book “Sei Venezia – A film – A city” published by Marsilio with Carlo Mazzacurati. In 2013 I participated in the collective ebook «Vajont, an Italian tragedy» published by Rizzoli and I wrote her autobiography “Ancora Spero” with Marina Cicogna published by Marsilio in May 2023. I am married and have three daughters.
