Sharon Hurst

Sharon Hurst is a journalist. She wrote for years for a children’s magazine, then moved on to writing conservation materials for a government department. She headed deeper into the world of publishing, becoming a designer/editor for a farm machinery journal for many years, and was also the editor/journalist for a Victorian-based lifestyle magazine.

For the last 20 years she has been reviewing film, in magazines, on radio, and now online, running her own weekly review site. She is a member of the Australian Film Critics Association and also the Society of Australian Cinema Pioneers.
