Stefanos Ntalasis

Stefanos Ntalasis is a social and cultural scientist, artistic director at the Municipality of Trikala, director and actor. He studied theatre, cinema, music, theology, sociology, cultural units management. He holds a PhD in the Sociology of Culture and Cinema from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a thesis on “Society, Religion and Culture in Greek Cinema”. He is a member of the Greek Directors Guild, the Hellenic Sociological Association, the Hellenic Actors Union, the International Theatre Institute, the Hellenic Film Academy, the Greek Association of Film Critics, and the Hellenic Chamber of Administration. As artistic director, he curates and organises programmes and actions on theatre, cinema, art and culture. For his creative work he has been awarded by “Thessaloniki- European Capital of Culture” (Best Actor), the Ministry of Culture, and the Municipality of Trikala. For his scientific work he has received awards from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Open University of Cyprus.
