Motivation for the winning film: “For its originality and its narrative power, being a documentary device with cinematic and didactic aspects, which, through various disciplines, sheds light on colonialisms”.

The screening of The Turin Horse by Béla Tarr and Ágnes Hranitzky was introduced by FIPRESCI jury member Luis Vélez as part of the inaugural collaboration between FIPRESCI and the D’A Film Festival Barcelona.
