Daniel Rafaelic

Daniel Rafaelic was born in 1977 in Bitola, Macedonia. Since 2002 he has been working as a film historian in the Croatian Cinematheque in Zagreb. He teaches Croatian film history at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. He’s a contributor to various relevant film editions in Croatia (Film lexicon) and abroad (Cinema and the Swastika). He has published studies of Croatian film history, reviews as well as film criticism in general. In 2005 he wrote and (together with Leon Rizmaul) directed the documentary The Other Side of Welles. Currently he is finishing two books: Orson Welles in Croatia and Croatian Film Industry during Ustasha Regime 1941-1945.
