Guillem Fernández Marí

Guillem F. Marí (Barcelona, 1987) graduated in Audiovisual Communication at UPF (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) in Barcelona. After studying film history in the United States (Boston College), he works as a film and TVseries critic, as well as a festival programmer and director.
He is co-director and programmer of Offside Fest, Barcelona’s International football documentary film festival as well as programmer and producer of Serielizados Fest, the international TV series festival of Spain, with yearly editions in Madrid, Barcelona and online. As a festival jury, he has been part of the Sitges International Film Festival (critics jury, 2017 edition) and the Gijón International Film Festival (FIPRESCI jury, 2018 edition).
He is currently in charge of the contents of the digital magazine ‘Serielizados’, specialized in TV series criticism and analysis. He also collaborates with RNE as a film critic in the morning show ‘Avui Sortim’. He is a collaborator of ‘La Finestra Indiscreta’ of Catalunya Ràdio and is part of the team that broadcasts the Oscars gala on that same station. Among other media, he has worked at RAC1 and collaborated with outlets such as Onda Cero, Radio Marca, eCartelera and Esquire. In addition, he hosts a film podcast in Catalan, titled ‘Programa Doble (Double Feature). As a filmmaker and editor, he has worked on commercial videos and documentaries as well directing various short films and music videos.
