The International Federation of Film Critics proudly announces the launch of its new FIPRESCI Legacy Award, a special honor that turns the critical gaze toward cinema’s rich past to recognize those who have shaped the craft of filmmaking. 739 film critics from 75 countries participated in the voting process.

The Brazilian director received the award at the opening gala of the San Sebastian Film Festival on September 19th. Details

The annual FIPRESCI General Assembly took place in Budapest, hosted by the Hungarian National Film Institute (NFI) during the Budapest Classics Film Marathon.
