Grand Prix 2023 – Nominations
Grand Prix – Our Best Film of 2023
Dear colleagues,
We again invite you to look back on the last twelve months in cinema and to choose the film which will receive the “FIPRESCI Grand Prix” as Best Film of the Year 2023, to be presented at the televised opening ceremony of the 71st San Sebastian Film Festival on September 22, 2023.
All members of FIPRESCI are invited to participate in an online poll.
In an initial phase, all members are invited to nominate up to three films (feature-length, of any origin and nature) that had their world premiere no earlier than July 1st, 2022.

Propose one, two or three titles, as well as the director’s name. Make sure the films had their world premiere no earlier than July 1st, 2022 (otherwise they cannot be considered). Quote the English titles and pay attention to the correct & exact spelling (otherwise the software will not identify the films).
Nominations are expected until Monday, July 31, 2023 (midnight CEST).
In a second phase, we will ask you to vote on a shortlist of candidates.
Best regards
