Russian Colloquium Planned
At the occasion of the “5th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum” beginning of December, 2016, an agreement was signed between the Directorate of the Forum and FIPRESCI. Both organizations agreed to prepare at the 2017 edition of the Forum a colloquium dedicated to Russian cinema. 15 international critics will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the recent film production in Russia (2016/2017, all genres) and to meet the filmmakers. Fyodor Bondarchuk, the Director of the Movie Section of the Forum, and Klaus Eder, General Secretary of FIPRESCI, agreed as well that this colloquium should be organized on a regular basis (every two years). The next steps will be to ensure the financial conditions of the project.
