Calin Boto

Călin Boto is a film critic and curator. He steadily works as a film journalist for All About Romanian Cinema and is a columnist or frequent collaborator of publications such as Films in Frame, Revista Film, and Filmexplorer, writing extensively on film festivals, the history of Romanian cinema, film archives, and queer cinema. His curatorial work has to do with archival retrospectives of many types and themes, and, as an associate curator of Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival (BIEFF), with recent short films. An alumnus of several writing workshops, including those in Sarajevo, Warsaw, Locarno, and Pordenone.
