Joanna Orzechowska-Bonis

Member of FIPRESCI, International Federation of Journalists, French Press Association, Polish Press Association, graduated from Film Studies at Lodz, Poland and Paris Sorbonne University. Member of French Association  of International Critics of Cinema “Lumières”, awarding annually the best films, directors, actors and the personalities of French cinema. She started her career as film critic working for FILM and KINO magazines and pursued working for French Lagardère Group (Hachette Filipacchi Medias), international Bauer Group and also as independent critic/journalist,  editor and correspondent and jury member at the international film festivals. She published two novels, short stories and the series of portraits of international artists, often focused on the women’s figures in the cinema and in the world of art.  Author of scripts, film catalogues and film & culture reviews. In 2021, she received a medal for the whole of her work attributed by international Académie des Arts, Sciences et Lettres based in Paris.
