Paula Arantzazu Ruiz (Barcelona, 1979) holds a PhD degree in Film Studies from Universidad Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) with a thesis about the artists Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi in relation to the early medical films, and lectures at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. She contributes regularly as a film journalist and film critic in several Spanish outlets such as SensaCine, Cinemania, ARA, Letra Global among others.
