Six Debut Features Nominated for the European Discovery – Prix FIPRESCI
at the 38th European Film Awards
Six full-length fiction debuts have been nominated for the prestigious European Discovery – Prix FIPRESCI, an award presented in cooperation with the International Federation of Film Critics – FIPRESCI. The winner will be selected by a committee composed of FIPRESCI members and experts appointed by the European Film Academy Board.

The nominated debut features are:

These nominations were announced today during a ceremony at the 22nd Seville European Film Festival, alongside the nominees for nine additional categories of the 38th European Film Awards, including Best European Film.
The winners of the 38th European Film Awards, presented by the European Film Academy, will be announced at the awards ceremony on 17 January 2026 in Berlin, Germany.
