Dear FIPRESCI colleagues,
INVITATION: VENICE 2026 – FNE/FIPRESCI CRITICS’ RATINGS
As in previous years, during the Venice Film Festival we invite FIPRESCI members attending the festival to take part in the FIPRESCI/ NFE Critics’ Ratings.
Participating critics will have the opportunity to rate the feature-length films they see in Competition, Orizzonti and Critics’ Week, on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. The results will be published daily throughout the festival on www.filmneweurope.com.
This is not a jury: you simply rate the films you personally see. Participation is open only to critics who are physically present at the festival.
We would be very pleased to have you join us.
There are three options for participation:
- First five days: 2–6 September
- Last five days: 7–11 September
- The entire festival: 2–11 September

Participation is limited to 20 critics, all members of FIPRESCI on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note: Critics serving on any of the official festival juries are not eligible to participate in the ratings.
