Cannes 2015: Critics Prize to “Paulina”
The FIPRESCI Prize for a film in the Parallel Sections went to “Paulina” (La Patota) by Santiago Mitre (Argentine, Brazil, France, 2015, 103 min, presented in the Critics’ Week).
Motivation: “For presenting an original perspective on an usually stereotypically depicted subject, driven by a strong leading performance and creating an emotionally compelling experience.”
