Peter Rist

Peter Rist is a Professor of Film Studies in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Concordia University, Montreal. He writes regularly for and his most recent major publications include Historical Dictionary of South American Cinema (2014), and a chapter of Chinese Film Poetics (BFI, forthcoming). He has attended all 39 editions of the World Film Festival.
