A young festival, this year in its 9th edition. A showcase of independent world cinema. Fest director Stefan Kitanov dedicates a special attention to films from the region and in particular from Bulgaria. This included not only recent films, but as well a view back on the old masters, such as Christo Christov or Martin Slicka, who’s forbidden documentary A Man Leaves Us (1968) was shown for the first time (read Hans-Joachim Schlegels presentation).
