This international festival held in the magnificent town of Sicily, where screenings take place at night in the ancient Greek Theater, is headed by Felice Laudadio. A great and true friend of FIPRESCI, Laudadio invited this year again (and for the first time in Taormina) our General Assembly. We also established a jury, chaired by FIPRESCI Honorary President Michel Ciment. The five critics awarded Bye-bye Blackbird by Robinson Savary (Luxemburg, 2005) as best film of the “Cinema del mondo” competition.
