FIPRESCI jury handed the prize to the director of the best film in the main competition – under the specific consideration of its cinematography. This is the second time that the film has received the FIPRESCI award (with the first one being presented at Cannes). Cinematographer of the awarded film: Łukasz Żal.

Motivation: “With its unique approach to visual storytelling, this film confronts the audience with history and gives space to imagine the unimaginable”.
