71st Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival

The winning film was shown in the “On the Rise” competition for newcomers (first and second feature films).  According to the jury’s motivation, the film was awarded “For its gentle but strong depiction of grief and the immersive power of grainy 16mm photography depicting a world in which realism and urban mysticism become interwoven”.
