Cannes Calling
Invitation for all FIPRESCI Members Attending the Cannes Festival 2019
You are kindly invited to participate in the FIPRESCI – FNE Critics’ Poll and rate (one to five stars) any of the feature length film that you see in the main programs (Main Competition, Certain Regard, Quinzaine and Critics Week). The result will be published each day during the festival on www.filmneweurope.com.
This is not a jury. You rate only the films that you see. Members of any Cannes jury are excluded.
If interested, please sign up by sending an email to critics@filmneweurope.com
The poll will be limited to 20 critics, members of FIPRESCI, selected on a first come-first serve basis. This year, we offer beautifully restored DVDs of the classic film “Black Peter” by Milos Forman (FIPRESCI Award 1964 at the 18th Film Festival of Locarno) for the first five participants to sign up, sponsored by the CZ National Film Archives and in honour of the participation of Milos Forman’s official screening of “Loves of a Blond” in the official selection of Cannes Classics.
