Best European Films – A Proposal

The European Film Academy asked FIPRESCI to propose films – candidates for the category “Best Film of the Year”. Here are the critics’ favorites.

Films taken into consideration must have had their first official screening (be it at a festival or at a regular cinema) between 1 June 2016 and 31 May 2017.

The 30th European Film Awards will take place on 9 December 2017 in Berlin.
