Andrés Nazarala

Andrés Nazarala was born in Valparaíso, Chile, in 1976. He has been writing film criticism for almost two decades in magazines and newspapers from Chile and Argentina. He has been part of the jury in festivals like Toronto, Montreal, Moscow, Miami, San Francisco, Mar del Plata and Seattle in 2013. He is also a filmmaker. His first film, Debut, was part of the Chilean Competition in Sanfic (Santiago Film Festival). In 2019, his novel about cinema, Hotel Tandil, came out in Latin America and Spain with positive reviews. He lives in Buenos Aires.
