Aram Shahbazyan

Film Director, Armenia

Aram Shahbazyan (born 1971). He graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema in 1994, Directing Department. In 1996-1997, he studied in La Femis as a Film Director. He was the chief director of Ar TV Company, director at Armenian Public TV Company, director assistent at Hayfilm Studio. Currently he works for Shoghakat TV. His short film “Akner” was selected by XXVII Moscow IFF 2005, for the section Perspectives. He got the Best Director Award twice at the “Yes em” IFF of Young Filmmakers in Yerevan, in 2004 and 2005.
