Berta Carricarte Melgarez

Berta Carricarte Melgarez has a Master’s degree in Art History and works as a film critic and researcher. She is a professor at the College of Arts and Letters, University of Havana. In 2012 she published the book A la sombra del elogio. Aproximaciones al cine japonés. She is currently preparing her doctoral thesis, on the subject of production design in Cuban cinema.
